[She is. She's pacing throughout the house, growling softly. Hungry. The sound of a window opening gets her attention, along with the sound of a voice. She's not so much of a predator to stalk the window.]

Who's asking?

It is Maedhros. I brought you something that should help slow the disease.

[hands4healing]

[Maedhros? He wouldn't be very edible. She heads for the sound of his voice. She looks worse. Her eyes are all red now and the twitches are worse.]

Maedhros. [She draws out the name.]

What is it?

[It always saddens him to see or hear her getting worse. Pariya said the bread would help slow the disease. He hopes it's enough.]

It is a specially made bread. An imPort baker makes bread that heals. She said that it would slow down this disease and heal any other ailments you have.

[She peers at him. Her vision is red-tinged from the Flare. She twitches as she makes her way to the window. Bread. Not at all appetizing. She wants something more...lively. But she accepts the bread]

[Winry takes a bite of it and chews slowly. Flavorless compared to what she wants but she still eats. And maybe it helps, because her anger clears somewhat.]

Maedhros, have you heard from anyone inside the quarantine zone?

[Ed, she means.]

I have not yet today. I plan to speak to Edward in a few hours. Did you have a message for him?

N-no. I mean, as long as I know he's all right. Are there more outbreaks?

Unfortunately, yes. The dragon is infected and attacked some nearby towns and at least one of the other imPort cities, spreading this plague to them, also.

[Winry hasn't been paying attention to much of the online community, frankly.]

Fire dragon, specifically. Although they are all very difficult to fight.

If I am needed there more than here. I think, though, that she may have already been defeated.

[Well, 'defeated' probably meant 'dead', but Winry isn't sure. Considering the Flare and all.]

Probably. I still do not know why they would bring a dragon here. They bring nothing but trouble, at least in my world.

I am well, thank you, Winry. This plague has kept me busy but I have taken no hurt. There is another of my race here. It came as a pleasant surprise in this madness.

Sometimes. I should speak to Tauriel about separating the sick. I do not wish to harm them but when enough gather, it can be hard to fight them off.
